Sweetie Aoud is a luxurious niche fragrance created by the British perfumer Roja Dove for the house of Roja Parfums. The composition was released in 2015 and belongs to the oriental gourmand fragrance family. It is a unisex perfume suitable for both men and women; however, thanks to its rich combination of sweet gourmand accords and noble oud, it is often perceived as an especially striking and expressive scent with a bold character.
The concept of the fragrance is inspired by the atmosphere of a luxurious oriental palace.
According to the perfumer’s idea, the scent transports you to a royal kitchen where the aroma of melted butter, caramelized sugar, and toasted almonds blends with the smoky scent of agarwood and incense. This combination creates an unusual contrast between the sweetness of desserts and the deep, noble character of oriental woody notes.
The composition opens with fresh and slightly spicy nuances.
The top notes feature bergamot and artemisia. This duo creates a bright and contrasting introduction: citrus freshness intertwines with a herbal bitterness, giving the fragrance dynamism and depth from the very first moments.
