Montale White Aoud is a refined niche fragrance from the French brand Montale, created by perfumer Pierre Montale. The eau de parfum belongs to the floral-woody and musky fragrance family and is considered a unisex composition. However, due to the soft floral character of rose and the warm vanilla base, the scent is often perceived as especially elegant and sophisticated on women, while its woody and spicy nuances also make it harmonious and appealing for men.
The fragrance is built around noble oud — one of the most precious ingredients in oriental perfumery.
The perfumer aimed to reveal a softer and more delicate side of agarwood by combining it with floral, spicy and warm woody nuances. As a result, the composition sounds noble, refined and multifaceted, while preserving the characteristic oriental style of the Montale brand.

At the beginning, Damask rose, saffron and jasmine can be perceived. The rose adds softness and an exquisite floral depth to the fragrance, saffron introduces a gentle spicy warmth, and jasmine enhances the floral character of the composition.
Heart notes
In the heart of the fragrance, richer woody tones unfold. Here, agarwood (oud), patchouli, cardamom and vetiver take center stage. Oud gives the composition its characteristic oriental depth and nobility, patchouli adds earthy richness, and cardamom creates a warm spicy accent.
Base & dry-down
The base forms a soft and long-lasting trail. It combines sandalwood, amber, vanilla and French labdanum. These notes create a warm, slightly sweet and creamy accord that makes the fragrance softer and more enveloping.
