Le Labo Santal 33 is a unisex fragrance created for both women and men. However, due to its dry woody structure, leathery and slightly smoky nuances, it unfolds especially harmoniously on those who prefer distinctive, expressive, and somewhat bold compositions. The composition is inspired by the image of open space and a free spirit.
The top notes feature cardamom, iris, violet, and ambroxan. Cardamom adds a light spiciness and dry freshness, iris introduces a soft powdery-woody facet, while violet brings a delicate green coolness. Ambroxan enhances the sensation of purity and modern transparency. The opening feels both bright and restrained, creating an impression of refined simplicity.
Heart notes
In the heart, woody notes gradually become richer and deeper. Sandalwood plays the leading role — warm, dry, and slightly creamy, yet without sweetness. Its character is complemented by cedarwood, which provides structure and reinforces the fragrance’s signature dryness.
